Bags, Tires, UPS store

So today was interesting. I had a custom order for my kitchen sink beach bag. The client saw the pattern and wanted the bag itself, so I did a custom bag for her. Couldn't find the exact purple fabric from the last time, but I got pretty darn close.

I think it looks fantastic!

And the fabric not only is pretty, it behaved in the sewing machine. Sometimes you get fabric that looks awesome but then never gets along with your machine no matter how hard you try to make them be friends. But this was good fabric! So it got rewarded and made into a tote bag!

Then went to the post office to mail the thing, and stood in line for (no joke!) half an hour waiting to mail it. Finally got through that line, mailed the sucker out, and had to go to the UPS Store (hubby had an errand...why we couldn't combine a trip I have no earthly clue), where they were shipping...wait for it...TIRES!

Just so random I had to take a picture and share with you all. It made me giggle as we walked out of the store. "Here...let me ship these tires the size of Texas..."

Also wanted to remind everyone that I've got three fabulous giveaways going on right now. Check out my sidebar and click on over to enter! Today I'm really happy to have 30 lovely followers! Thank you so much for coming along with me on this ride!

Happy Almost Friday!
