How awesome is that? So I decided to put an entry into their festival.I decided to put in the quilt I made for my sister's wedding in May.
I think this is likely the best quilt I've ever made. The pattern might be simple, but I sure learned a lot with this. I learned how to make the blocks a lot straighter and how to speed peice. (And boy did I need that working under the deadline for her wedding!) They each have such varied tastes in colors that it was a challenge to blend them. Sister likes blue and brown, and her hubby likes red and black. So I tried to find a happy medium, and I think I succeeded!But also this quilt represents something else to me. It represents love, commitment and fun. All things that you need in quilting, and MARRIAGE!
I'm so happy to share this quilt with everyone, as I think I had the most fun ever making it. It measures 80'' square and is tied not quilted.
