But lately I've started to really detest my shopping trips. I'm so unorganized and flustered and can never remember what I need to get. Mainly because my mind is too focused on the quilty things I'd rather be doing, or the blogs I'd rather be reading. So I decided to do something about it.
I've started recently trying to coupon. Now I'm likely not the best at it, and I don't think I ever will be. But in the process of doing this I began writing out a shopping list each time I went...which helped a little...at first... It's just time consuming in the process, and a little unorganized at the store. I'd find myself by the milk one minute, running to the other side of the store for hotdogs, and then back by the milk for the yogurt and cheese.
So I scoured the internet for an organized shopping list. I couldn't find one that worked for me. They either had too many bells and whistles or were as unorganized as my hand written ones. So I tinkered around in Excel for a while this morning and out popped this:
I know a lot of you struggle with the same thing, and would rather be crafting, blogging, spending time with your kids, so maybe this will help you guys out too. I left the boxes without lines because my lists are scrawled in a hurry and if I had to write neatly on the lines, I would spend way too much time on it. I left a note section for things to write down while you're shopping. Such as "post office, dry cleaner, get gas" etc. One paper, one stop (almost) shopping.
And because I love you guys so much, I decided to make it a free printable!
Click here to download. Please don't resell, or claim credit on this free printable, and it is for personal use only.
Enjoy guys, and let me know what you think of it!
